Where is my data stored, and is it private?
Your data lives on your device and, when you're signed in, syncs to your private cloud space that only your account can access. We never sell or share it. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
How does importing contacts work?
If you allow contacts access, MUTRL imports the people in your phone who have a phone number so you can start keeping in touch right away. Those contacts are stored on your device and synced to your private account. You can delete any person anytime, or skip the import and add people one at a time. If importing isn't working, check that you've allowed Contacts access in iOS Settings → MUTRL → Contacts.
My reminders aren't showing up. What do I check?
Reminders are delivered as local notifications. Make sure notifications are enabled in iOS Settings → MUTRL → Notifications, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't silencing them. If a reminder still doesn't fire, email us with the contact and time you set.
What do the AI features do with my information?
AI features are off until you review and accept the AI data sharing disclosure in Settings. If you enable one, only the specific question, contact context, or journal text that request needs is sent through our server to OpenAI. OpenAI does not use API content to train its models by default. You can turn features off or withdraw consent anytime in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for details.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings → Delete Account in the app. This removes your account and data from our cloud and wipes the app's data from your device. The action can't be undone, so export anything you want to keep first.
Does MUTRL cost anything?
MUTRL is currently free, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If that ever changes, we'll make the terms clear before you're charged.
